About Jason...

While other kids were playing with army men and Atari, Jason spent his time as a young child taking apart old clocks and electronics -- and then putting them back together. He spent countless hours and days making things and learning carpentry with his grandfather, and crafting makeshift go-carts and small furniture pieces with his dad. He began to learn construction during summers in college, and in the twenty-five years since has become a Master Carpenter and gained experience in virtually all aspects of residential building, remodeling and sustainable practices.

Anyone who has worked with Jason will tell you that his integrity, craftsmanship and attention to detail are unmatched.

About Lisa...

From a very young age Lisa understood that the design of place is paramount, filling countless shoeboxes as a kid with the sketches, paintings and "blueprints" of the places in her imagination. She studied fine art and psychology as an undergraduate, and shortly after graduation moved to the Pacific Northwest where she fell hopelessly in love with the garden as an art form. She went on to graduate school to study landscape architecture, and has been designing gardens professionally since the late 90's.

Lisa has written a monthly garden column for the Oregonian's Home & Garden magazine, taught classes on Plant Identification and Ecology at the University of Oregon, and was a team leader and teacher at the Urban Farm in Eugene, Oregon. She's been a certified Master Gardener since 1998.

As a designer, Lisa is a place-maker who revels in the challenge of cultivating a sense of magic in every space she transforms. She offers her skills as a designer for both indoor and outdoor projects, with a particular strength in space planning and assessing big-picture design effects.
